The Costa Blanca has always been a popular destination for holidaymakers from all over the world
with the highest percentage being Brits and recent figures from the Tourism Board shows that it is as
popular as ever.
During September 2015 669,576 foreigners are reported to have visited the Valencian Community.
This represents a growth of 2.7% more than in the same month in 2014 bringing the year to date
total up to 5.27 million, an increase of 4.2% over last year.
The largest group of visitors with Valencia are visitors from the UK, a sector that has increased by
1.3% in September 2015. The number of Uk visitors is set to increase by 4.4% next year and also an
expected increase of French and Scandinavian visitors by 3.2% but the largest increase is from The
Netherlands with an expected increase in visitors of 34%
